Installing a plugin
macOS
- Copy the .vst3 file to ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
- Copy the .component file to ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
- Rescan plugins in your DAW
Logic Pro and GarageBand use the Audio Unit. Ableton Live, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One and Reaper can use the VST3. A signed installer is planned to do this for you.
Windows

Troubleshooting
Common questions
RETROVERSE 90 asks for a serial number, or my serial is refused
Copy the whole serial from your order email and use Paste Serial in the plugin. Extra spaces and line breaks don't matter. Audio passes through unprocessed until the plugin is activated. If it is still refused, contact support with your order reference.
The plugin does not appear in my DAW
Check that the file is in the correct folder, then run a full plugin rescan. Logic Pro and GarageBand only load the Audio Unit, not the VST3.
My mix sounds narrower or hollow in mono
Width above 100% is mono-safe. Chorus and Detune are not designed to cancel, so keep them moderate on bass-heavy sources, and watch the correlation reading in the Stereo display.
PUNCH says the sidechain isn't connected
Send the other track to PUNCH's sidechain input in your DAW, then press play. PUNCH reports whether audio is actually arriving, and very sparse material can show no signal between hits.
Why does sound continue after I stop the input?
Reverb and delay tails in RETROVERSE 90 ring out naturally. Bypass crossfades them away.
How do I compare with and without the effect?
Use the Bypass button in the plugin. In RETROVERSE 90 it crossfades to dry in 30 ms and latency stays constant, so comparisons stay aligned.
